Grace Suite

Welcome to the Grace Suite. The Grace Suite is named for our youngest daughter, Grace, who was four years old when the suite was completed and she is a real firecracker. She melts the hearts of those who meet her with her ever-present smile and cheerful disposition. Grace absolutely loves doing crafts, playing with her dolls and stuffed animals, and, of course, playing with her big sister, Sofia.

The Grace Suite is located on the first level of the house and has one bedroom/living space, full kitchen, full bathroom, and dining area. This apartment, being on the ground level, opens directly to the courtyard and does not have any stairs. Originally, this section of the house was where the three servants lived. The living/sleeping area was one large room separated by a curtain in which two women lived and the kitchen was another bedroom which housed the lead maid, Rosa, who worked in this house for over 40 years.

Like all three of our suites, the Grace Suite is located in the back of the house and has several thick adobe walls insulating the living space from the typical street noises that accompany El Centro living. Each apartment has its own separate entrance accessed through a courtyard or through a very popular coffee shop/eatery, Ñucallacta, during business hours.

We feel this unit would be a great choice for a single person or couple looking to take advantage of downtown living within walking distance to much that Cuenca has to offer.

The Grace Suite rents for $30.00 a night. All of our suite prices are based on double occupancy but can accommodate an extra guest for an additional $10 per night. We accept PayPal and may be able to make other arrangements if necessary.  Check-in time is 3:00 PM and check-out time is 10:00 AM.

To reserve a room, a $250.00 security deposit, $35 cleaning fee, and 1/2 of the reservation balance is required.

Please Note:

Because we take pride in the appearance and preservation of our home, we ask guests to comply with the housekeeping of each unit for each reservation made. Each guest suite will be professionally cleaned every other week and the cost is $35.00. This fee will be paid directly to the property managers who will make the reservation with our housekeeping staff.

During your stay, you will be provided with cleaning solutions, wipers, toilet brush, broom and mop. Please keep the unit as clean as you would your own home.

No Smoking, Candles or Incense anywhere on the property or in the driveway, please.
This includes vapor cigarettes.

As a courtesy to all, hours for laundry will be 9 am-8 pm. There are assigned days for each suite and we kindly request strict compliance to these hours and days.

Bookings cancelled 30 to 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a 100% refund.

Refund of Deposit:
The $250 deposit is held until a successful manager inspection and then the request is made through PAYPAL for the deposit to be refunded. Any damages to apartment will be repaired with the deposit and the remainder of the deposit will be returned 7-10 business days from the check out inspection.
